What are we looking for in a School-based Therapist?

School-based Therapists work within their assigned primary or secondary schools to provide evaluations, brief treatment, and other interventions for students.

Using evidence-based practices, School-based Therapists help students develop the skills needed to manage their mental health concerns more effectively.

School-based therapists will coordinate with teachers, parents & families, school administration, and other service providers to ensure that each student is receiving the interventions and treatment they need.

Clinical supervision and training in evidence-based practices are provided as part of this position.

Prior experience working with children and adolescents is required for this role.

This position will provide services to students in the Granger School District and has a regular Monday-Friday 8am-5pm work schedule.

There will be occasional travel between Granger and our Sunnyside clinic for supervision.
