Our 103,000 colleagues serve people in more than 160 countries.JOB DESCRIPTION:Summary:Independently manages and consults in multiple complex system-level projects and design changes to support expanded investigations.

Resolves product problems and technical issues.

Proactively identifies opportunities for significant operational,process or system level product improvements.Main Responsibilities:Maintains adherence to Quality System
– Implements and maintains the effectiveness of the quality system.

2.Design Control
– Writes,executes and provides technical review of moderately complex system related verification and or characterization protocols and data packages.Applies moderately complex quantitative methods,analyzes data,evaluates results,forms conclusions and provides and implements improvements.Defines and documents critical performance requirements that link to sub-system design requirements across interacting functions.

3.Risk Mitigation
– Evaluates technical risks and identifies alternatives,makes recommendations and takes appropriate action.

4.Technical Investigation Support
– Reviews and develops FMEA,hazards,modes of control for Risk Management.Leads moderately complex investigations involving interacting system level issues.

5.Collaborates across functional areas
– Presents,delivers and interprets information amongst product team members,scientists,engineers,and other systems development personnel across sites.Works well with CFT members in a collaborative,goal-driven environment.

6.Technical Leadership and Mentoring
– Reviews project progress and evaluate results against project and design plans and timelines.Recommends resource estimates and impact of project scope changes.Provides input into developing departmental and site processes and procedures.Provides system integration leadership and mentoring.Participates in hiring decisions for system integration resources and provides input to System Integration Managers.Expense monitoring and may provide project budget planning and management oversight.Qualifications:Advanced degree in Life or Physical Science,Bioengineering,Biomedical Engineering or closely related discipline is preferred.

4-6 years’ work related experience with degree or sufficient transferable experience to demonstrate functional equivalence to a degree.

Moderate knowledge of external regulations and standards affecting IVDs and Biologics.
