This position will work closely with Cybersecurity management and in collaboration with corporate compliance, human resources/leadership academy, corporate communications and other Medical Center leadership to ensure the maximum level of information security awareness and education for all levels of Rush employees.

Develops and executes a comprehensive security awareness program that includes education and training both in-person and virtual.

Provides security related consulting on complex organizational projects including Mobile Device Management and other cybersecurity initiatives.

Position Responsibilities: Develop and lead the strategy, goals, and objectives for Cybersecurity training, education, and awareness program to address current and emerging technologies and risks that affects all employees, students, faculty and contingent workers Collaborate with the organizations Risk professional to Identify the top human risks to our organization and the behaviors we need to change to mitigate those risks Tailor information security training, education, and awareness programs to reduce institutional risk related to lack of training that includes applicable compliance objectives (e.g., HIPAA, FERPA, PCI) Ensure that our information security awareness program communicates our security policies and requirements so that people know, understand, and can follow them through a central repository for security guidance and references Prepare and deliver information security training, education, and awareness activities appropriate for various audiences Create a metrics framework (including KPIs) deduced from the security awareness program that can effectively measure engagement, behaviors, and impact to show progress towards effectively changing behaviors so our employees act in a secure manner, reducing risk Rush Collaborate with information security technical experts as needed to augment or further develop information security training, education, and awareness activities appropriate for campus audiences Work with external vendors and agency partners as needed to establish quotes, production schedules, delivery, and implementation of materials Incorporate adult learning methodologies into design and delivery of content through the use of Instructional Design best practices Facilitate successful social learning experiences in classroom settings (virtual and in-person).

Ensure that our security awareness program meets all industry regulations, standards, and compliance requirements.

Ability to effectively manage other Cybersecurity projects as assigned to completion in collaboration with various teams Position Qualifications Include: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business or Communications 7 years of relevant experience focusing on Security Awareness and Education, preferably in an Information Security setting Must have excellent interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with all levels of hospital personnel, vendors and IT personnel.

Must possess the ability to deliver clear, concise communications and presentations.

Must be able to train others quickly and thoroughly on key cybersecurity concepts.

Experience working in a Cybersecurity environment and demonstrable understanding of the concepts of information risks Excellent communication skills, including written, verbal, and design skills with demonstrable competence and experience in clearly explaining complex information security concepts and technologies for both technical and non-technical audiences Demonstrable knowledge of the policies and principals of information handling and protection The ability to work under pressure, prioritize workflows, meet targets and escalate when appropriate.
