What we are looking for: The Senior Business Analyst works closely with our Client Management team and directly with clients to define analytic solutions that add value both internally and externally.

In partnership with the business leads, this technical role implements new ideas and strategies to improve and expedite the deployment of data solutions.

What you will do: Partner with our Client Management team and clients to document requirements, ensure the request adds value, and manage requirements through to implementation.

Identify opportunities to provide automated self-serve reporting and dashboard solutions.

Assist in client SOW creation and effort estimation.

Provide insight into patterns in data that translates into value for business partners.

Perform complex data analysis, data querying, and data validation functions.

Be the subject matter expert and point of contact for client reporting and data solutions and systems.

Provide training and navigation support for self-serve reporting solutions to clients and Client Management team.

Troubleshoot complex reporting and data issues.

Leads projects from inception to completion.

Collaborate across technical and business teams.

Mentor and train new and existing team members.

Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, business or related field.

(equivalent relevant work experience may be substituted) 8 years of work experience in a related field, preferably within a professional services organization.

Experience with clinical or healthcare data and analysis a plus.

Experience with querying transactional and data warehouse systems using SQL.

Intermediate to Advanced Excel and Power point skills.

Polished written and verbal communication skills with the ability to address different levels across organization.

Skilled in data analysis / data mining.

Knowledge and familiarity with database security concepts and standard methodologies, as well as with data quality and data governance concepts.

Ability to work directly with users and management to understand needs, capture requirements, provide status updates, build good relationships and rapport.

Ability to run small projects from inception to completion in multi-functional environment.

Highly adaptable and able to change quickly based on priority.

Ability and willingness to work, chip in, and debate in a team environment and adopt and promote a culture of ownership and initiative.

Able to identify multiple approaches to problem solving and recommend the best case solution.

Go-getter whose able to quickly learn multiple systems/tools, able to tackle problems, recommend multiple solutions given resources and constraints.

Dedicated, innovative, and creative in meeting client/customer needs.
