John Medical Center is an American College of Surgeons verified Level II Trauma Center, a Comprehensive Stroke hospital and staffs 24/7 to treat emergency and trauma patients.

We have 46 emergency beds plus a 10-bed minor care.

As an RN Nurse Supervisor , you will be responsible for assigning, directing, educating and monitoring nursing and support staff during their assigned shift as we offer comprehensive care to a variety of patients.

As a Nurse Supervisor you will help help ensure our RN’s are offered an in-depth comprehensive nursing orientation tailored towards the experience level of the nurse.

In this role you will also assess daily patient care needs and develop patient care assignments, evaluate the effectiveness of patient care and identify issues.

What You Will Do As an Associate with St John Health System, you will have the opportunity to supervise and coordinate unit staffing and provides leadership while ensuring implementation of clinical objectives and quality patient care in assigned area.

Responsibilities: Assign, direct, educate and monitor nursing and support staff during assigned shift.

Contribute to or perform performance evaluations of staff.

Assess daily patient care needs and develop and distribute patient care assignments, ensuring that population appropriate patient care is given.

Evaluate the effectiveness of patient care and identifies any issues that affect desired patient outcomes.

Respond to complaints about patient care and manage through established channels.

May provide input for hiring, training, directing, development and evaluating of staff.

What You Will Need Licenses/Certifications/Registration: Required Credential(s): BLS Provider credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date.

Registered Nurse credentialed from the Oklahoma Board of Nursing .

Education: Diploma Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing required Work Experience: 1 year of experience required.
