Registered Nurse (RN) – Wound Care Coordinator

We need a Registered Nurse (RN) to serve as our Wound Care Coordinator.  The Wound Care Coordinator RN is responsible for evaluating and managing proper wound care depending on wound type to improve the healing process.

Who you are:                                                                                                                                                                             

  • Must have active certification from a recognized Wound Certified Nurse Program
  • Must be a Registered Nurse (RN) licensed in the state(s) of operation.
  • Minimum of 3 years of licensed professional nursing experience required, experience in community or home health preferred.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in wound care management and education
  • Must possess sound knowledge of nursing principles, procedures, and standards of practice as determined by state and federal regulations.

What you’ll do:

  • Provide respectful and compassionate care to patients.
  • Provide patient care in accordance with acceptable standards of nursing practice, Interim HealthCare performance standards, and the written Plan of Care.
  • Uses clinical decision making to manage an assigned patient population efficiently and effectively.
  • Participates in the development and evaluation of the plan of care in partnership with the patient, representative (if any), and caregiver(s).
