Description SHIFT: Days (rotating weekends) SCHEDULE: Full-time This position is based at Ascend Materials in Pensacola, FL WFH has also been honored as a Truven Top 100 Hospital and just recently received their Joint Commission Sepsis accreditation.

The West Florida Healthcare campus includes a mental health facility and the area’s only CARF-accredited, comprehensive physical rehabilitation hospital.

Additionally, WFH was the area’s first Accredited Chest Pain Center with PCI and Breast Imaging Center of Excellence.

We are also an Advanced Primary Stroke Center.

Qualifications Current license as a RN Current certification as a BLS and ACLS Healthcare Provider Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing 1+ years of experience as a RN in an EMS or Occupational Health setting required Other certifications required within first 6 months of hire: First Aid, CAOHC, NIOSH, BAT, Urine Drug Screen collector, BLS Instructor, First Aid/CPR Instructor.

Customer service abilities including effective listening skills.

Critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision in a fast paced environment.

Ability to perform work that requires frequent standing, bending, reaching, squatting, kneeling, moving, lifting of patients and/or equipment up to 50 pounds.

Job Summary Registered Nurse to perform all the roles of clinic services to include, but not limited to, services supporting Medical OSHA Surveillance, OSHA Injury Prevention and Tracking, Case Management, DOT, SFWP, ESSH, Emergency Medical Services, and EMT/First Responder (CEU ,BLS, CPR, First Aid, Blood Borne Pathogen) Training.

Provide nursing evaluations and care to injured and personal illness employees in an industrial setting.

Perform pulmonary function testing, respirator fit testing, and audiograms following NIOSH, CAOHC, and site-specific standards.

Provide Breath Alcohol and Urine Drug Screen collections following DOT and site-specific standards.

Venipuncture and IV skills essential.

Assist with Health and Wellness events.

After-hours call is required in this role to include nights, weekends, and rotating holidays.
