Description SHIFT: Mixed (rotating weekends) SCHEDULE: Full-time Brandon Regional Hospital is seeking a top notch Registered Nurse to join our Free Standing Emergency Room team in Temple Terrace.

As an ER RN, you influence patient care in every way imaginable
– and then some.

You are responsible for the observation, assessment, nursing diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation of care in an Emergency setting.

You handle health teaching and counseling, promote wellness, health maintenance and illness prevention.

You even administer medications and treatment as prescribed.

In addition, you do it all with an energy that makes amazing patient care an everyday reality.

You will be right home in our Temple Terrace Emergency Room.

Brandon Regional Hospital utilizes complete computerized charting (Meditech) for patient assessment and care documentation, and eMAR to electronically record medication administration for the delivery of all medications provided to their patients.

Computerized self-scheduling is available.

Full-time is considered 36 hours per week, consisting of 3 x 12-hour shifts, including every other weekend.

Qualifications Education Nursing Diploma or ASN required; BSN preferred.

Licensing/Certifications Current FL RN license required or appropriate compact licensure Current BLS and ACLS certification required through the American Heart Association.

Qualifications Previous experience in Emergency Room strongly preferred.

Minimum 1-year experience in acute care setting preferred.

Customer service abilities including effective listening skills.

Critical thinking, service excellence and good interpersonal communication skills, ability to read/comprehend written instructions, ability to follow verbal instructions, PC skills.
