Job Description:

  • Knowledge of the Hemodialysis and Peritoneal Dialysis Process.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and oversee the dialysis process performed by Dialysis Technicians.
  • Proven ability to provide treatments in a safe, therapeutic, and cost-effective manner.
  • Demonstrated ability to assist with providing quality outcomes and tracking of metrics.
  • Basic computer skills and proficiency in MS Word and Outlook required.
  • Proven ability to provide treatments in a safe, therapeutic, and cost-effective manner.

Job Qualifications:

Education Licenses

  • Associate of Science degree in nursing (ASN)
  • Graduate of an accredited Bachelor of Science in Nursing (preferred) 

Required Licenses

  • Must have a current RN license in the state of Ohio 
  • New Nursing Graduates are encouraged to apply as well.

Required Certifications

  • CPR certification through AHA

Work Experience

  • Two years of experience as a registered nurse (minimum)
  • One year of acute or chronic dialysis experience – (preferred)

Required License

Valid licensure in the State of Ohio as a Registered Nurse (RN) or COMPACT LICENSE

Under the direction of the Clinical Coordinator and Nursing Unit Director, perform nursing patient care duties for the assigned unit or department. Plan, provide and evaluate total nursing care by the established patient care philosophy. Facilitate individualized, goal-directed nursing care by using the nursing process and the principles of primary nursing by departmental and hospital policies and procedures. Relate effectively with other shifts for continuity of care, maintain satisfactory relations with other departments and nursing units, and participate in all phases of education.
