SHIFT: Days (rotating weekends)

SCHEDULE: Full-time

Position Summary

The Clinical Nurse Coordinator (CNC) ensures anddelivers high quality, patient-centered care and coordination of all functionsin the unit/department during the designated shift. In collaboration with othermembers of the management team, the CNC directs, monitors, and evaluatesnursing care in accordance with established policies/procedures, serves as a resourceperson for staff, and models a commitment to the organization’svision/mission/values to support an unparalleled patient experience andclinical outcomes that contribute to overall departmental performance.

Qualifications

Education/Experience
Required: Graduation from a school of professional nursing. 

3+ years in healthcare

5+ years experience in high risk L&D setting (Maternal Transport only)

3+ years experience in NICU Transport or NICU setting (NICU Transport only)

3+ years experience in high risk L&D setting (Labor & Delivery only)

Completion of or actively pursuing a BSN degree.

 

License/Certification
Required: Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in Texas. If Compact Licensed, Texas License must be obtained within 90 days of hire.

Current certifications from the American Heart Association as a BLS & ACLS provider.
