We Are Hiring RN Critical Care Unit 001 FT Rotating 72 Hours Bi-Weekly Ascension St Joseph Health Tawas City,MIWhat You Will Do As an Associate with Ascension St Joseph Health, you will have the opportunity to provide direct nursing care in accordance with established policies, procedures and protocols of the healthcare organization.:Implements and monitors patient care plans.

Monitors, records and communicates patient condition as appropriate.Serves as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care.Notes and carries out physician and nursing orders.Assesses and coordinates patient’s discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team.Mains knowledge and follows The Joint Commission Standards, SJHS policy and procedures, mandatory in-services and the values of SJHS and Ascension.The RN utilizes the appropriate delegation skills to ensure safe patient care delivery.The RN performs patient assessment/data collection in an ongoing systematic manner focusing on physiological, psychological, spiritual and cognitive needs of a group of patients ranging from infant to geriatric.Must be self directed, able to prioritize care, demonstrating appropriate judgment and decisions; performing effectively under stress in a busy environment.

Good verbal and written communication skills with legible handwriting, organizational skills, teaching and leadership skills are required.What You Will Need Licenses/Certifications/Registration:Required Credential(s):BLS Provider credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.

Education: 2 Year College Degree College degree from an accredited school of professional nursing is required within 6 months of employment and One year of med surg nursing experience preferred.

Diploma and One year of med surg nursing experience preferred.
