Our Cardiopulmonary Rehab unit compassionately cares for patients who have been treated with certain procedures or diagnosed with conditions such as: Â
· Angina Â
· Bypass surgery Â
· Coronary angioplasty/stent Â
· Heart attack (recovery or prevention) Â
· Elevated cholesterol Â
· Heart valve surgery Our patient care plans are tailored to our patientsâ??

conditions, needs and interests and will include a mix of monitored exercise, medication management, nutrition counseling, and patient education.

As a Cardiopulmonary Rehab RN you need to know how to: Â
· Recognize and address patientsâ??

psychological and physical needs Â
· Foster continuity and quality of care with the best interest and well-being of patients and their families in mind Â
· Assess a patientsâ??

medical status upon admission Â
· Assist in developing individualized treatment plans Â
· Comply with evaluation, treatment and documentation guidelines Â
· Oversee care delivered by LPNs and/or CNAs Â
· Participate in clinical team conferences Â
· Continually expand your knowledge Â
· Help improve our facility and safety programs Â
· Follow hospital, regulatory and professional guidelines, policies and procedures Â
· Communicate compassionately and effectively Your experience.

But we also expect excellence, which is why we require: Â
· ASN / ADN from an accredited program with the ability to obtain your BSN from an accredited program within four (4) years of hire unless you possess a minimum of fifteen (15) years of proven continuous Registered Nurse experience in an acute care setting, required Â
· Current Colorado RN license or ability to obtain, required Â
· Current BLS and ACLS certifications, required Â
· At least one (1) year of nursing experience in a comparable setting such as cardiac or critical care, highly preferred Your next move.
