Sr Telehealth Nurse Supervisor
– Weekends Location: Minnesota, United States Requisition : 1900070C Post Date: 2 days ago Careers that Change Lives The Clinical Nursing Supervisor position is responsible for organizing and day-to-day supervision of the work of the Registered Nurses and Licensed Practical Nurses who provide patient care to Complex Chronic Disease Patients in a case management role via tele-monitoring.

The supervisor provides leadership by utilizing clinical skills, problem solving, and overall nursing knowledge necessary to set department standards.

The supervisor also evaluates the nursing efforts to ensure that effective patient care is provided and that quality standards are met while reinforcing organizational policies and procedures.

The schedule for this position is Friday
– Sunday 10 hours per day and the final 10 hours during the week either 1 10-hour day or 2 5-hour days.

A Day in the Life Supports a culture of communication, creativity,cooperation and consistency.

Leads byfostering team spirit and cooperation.

Participates indaily monitoring of patients in the Patient Advocacy and Support Service Centerup to 50% of scheduled work day.

Providessupervisory and monitoring coverage on Fridays, Saturday, and Sundays.

Works remaining additional scheduled timeduring business hours Monday through Thursday to complete supervisory tasks andprovide back-up coverage for other supervisors and nursing staff.

Displays a positive approach to change, treatsstaff fairly, and insists on the highest integrity in all actions.

Drives clinicalquality and productivity results through leveraging audit tools and providingtimely performance feedback.Shares responsibility for the ongoingQA and auditing functions required per department and company policies tosupport compliance, qualitative reviews, and quantitative metrics.

Monitors patientinventory (queues) to ensure proper turnaround times are being achieved.

Coach/trainsnursing staff as necessary including monthly 1:1 sessions and annualperformance review.

Collaborateswith other PASS supervisors to create team schedule including management oftime off requests and holiday scheduling.

Collaborateswith other PASS supervisor to create and manage daily work assignments.

Addresses staffperformance issues on an ongoing basis to promote a productive and supportivework environment.

Assistsmanagement in staff recruiting, interviewing, hiring, and onboarding.

Provides andoversees new employee training and on-going staff training.

Also organizes, updates, and implementstraining materials.

Acts as subjectmatter expert and operational resource for the clinical staff.

Participates andfacilitates scheduled client conference calls/meetings as assigned.

Acts as primaryliaison between the clinical staff and PASS clients responding to inquiries asneeded.

Provides softwaredebugging and improvement/efficiency suggestions.

Providesfeedback on current and new products to the appropriate entities.

Occasional travelto support clinical training and/or meet with management team or clients.

On-callresponsibility to respond to inquiries and notices in the absence of otherleadership personnel due to planned and unplanned absences or other uniquecoverage situations.

Must Have: Minimum Requirements Bachelors degree required, preferably in Nursing or relevant experience in a health care setting Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree with a minimum of 1 year of relevant experience Registered Nurse licensed in state of residence and potential other states as required by customer base.

Compact State Licensure preferred Nice to Have Ability to work at a high level of autonomy and ambition in performing daily duties with minimal supervision.

Telehealth or home health nursing experience.

Excellent time management skills.

Five or more years of clinical experiencein a variety of nursing fields, especially chronic health conditions.

Prior leadership experience.

Ability to prioritize duties and delegate responsibilities Excellent triage skills assessing critical situations.

Strong critical thinking skills and problem solving skills.

Excellent customer service skills, telephone etiquette, and interpersonal skills.

Excellent written and oral communication and documentation skills.

Strong competency in computer skills, such as word processing, spreadsheets and e-mail (Microsoft Word, Excel, Access Outlook).

Basic typing skills (minimum 35 words per minute).

Appropriate professional grammar and correct spelling is expected and essential.

Bilingual in Spanish/English desired.
