Provider Nurse- $1,500 Sign-On Bonus

Description:

Responsible for assisting in clinical duties and maintaining order for Provider. Responsible for the delivery of patient care through the process of assessment, identification of nursing problems, implementation and evaluation. Collaborates with other disciplines to ensure effective and efficient and effective patient care.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Provides general nursing care to patients. Administers prescribed medications and treatments as prescribed by physician. Observes, records and reports patients condition and reaction to drugs and treatments to physicians.
2. Educates patient and family about diagnostic procedures and medications. Teaches patient how perform self-care.
3. Greets patients and prepares them for physician examinations. Screens patients for appropriate information. Instructs patients in collection of samples and tests.
4. Maintain and review patient records, charts and other pertinent information. Posts tests and exam results. Produces proper documentation of care given.
5. Responds to and refers incoming patient and physician phone calls.
6. Responsible for all surgery orders to include History and Physical, prescriptions and Lab orders.
7. Supervises specified personnel, which includes Medical Assistants, Receptionists, Scheduler and reports to Assistant Administrator.
8. Perform any other related duties as required or assigned.

Requirements:

Education: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with current Arkansas license. BLS certification required. Medical office or clinic experience preferred. Experience in Urology is a plus. **WILL CONSIDER QUALIFIED LPNs AND RNs FOR THIS POSITION
