Pharma IT Project Manager

Kforce has a client that is seeking a talented Pharma IT Project Manager with extensive experience within the Pharmaceutical industry in Atlanta, GA. In this Project Manager role, you will:

  • Project Manager provides the projects with agile or waterfall planning, execution management, governance, and reporting support
  • Responsible for the day to day management of large projects defining and managing scope, budget, timelines and quality, with full responsibility and authority to complete the assigned project
  • Project Manager will define project scope and leads the development, documentation and implementation of large-scale projects and change initiatives in line with organizational policies and strategies, defining and maintaining realistic project plans and monitoring progress against agreed quality and performance criteria
  • Makes recommendations on strategies for improvement from the initial project engagement through to financial close
  • As a Project Manager, you will facilitate requirements gathering sessions and documents functional requirements/specifications to capture business needs and validates and obtains sign off from business representative

Job Requirements:


  • Pharma R&D experience in IT required; Pre-Clinical experience is preferred
  • Strong experience in leading large IT projects and global deployment
  • Hands-on experience in agile methodology and tools
  • Experience with SDLC methodology in GMP and regulated environment in support of planning, development, UAT, operations and system retirement phases
  • Strong PM skills & soft skills (tracking tasks, issues/risks, providing status updates)
