Pediatric Physical Therapist

As part of our Birth to Three program, we offer autism services, behavioral health, therapeutic intervention, and related special educational services for children and their families.

Our team of educational consultants, behavior specialists, and therapeutic service staff members work collaboratively with families to address the diverse developmental and health related needs of their infants and toddlers.

Abilis is hiring a Pediatric Physical Therapist (CT State Licensed, PT, LPT, DPT ) to work with our Birth to Three Program.

In this role, you will motivate children and communicate with their parents to provide education and encouragement to help their children reach their goals.

RESPONSBILITIES: Provide Physical Therapy Treatment to a varied caseload of children in both office and home setting PT documentation required as per the Department of Health / School Districts Communicate PT goals to parents, teachers and team members Participates in IEP meetings as required and submit quarterly and annual reports as required by regulation Follows all standards of practice for Physical Therapy and regulatory requirements set by the CT State Department of Health and Board of Education, and other governing bodies Coordinates student program with other services Keeps up-to-date, accurate student records as per department regulations Modifies treatment program to ensure achieving students’ maximal capabilities REQUIREMENTS: Bachelors’ Degree of Science in Physical Therapy or equivalent required Masters’ Degree in Physical Therapy or Doctor of Physical Therapy preferred Licensed to practice in state of CT Certification for Pediatric Clinical Specialist and Neurodevelopment Treatment required.

Two years or more of Pediatric Physical Therapy experience preferred.
