Office Supervisor – Home Health – Full Time Days

Participates in disciplinary counseling and completes documentation of this observation in a formal process.

Exhibits the ability to work with others building positive relationships between subordinates, peers, and supervisors.

Answers phone promptly, courteously and professionally Ensures accurate and timely management of all provider orders with deficiencies addressed and corrected on a daily basis.

Provides oversight to the proper maintenance of all patient medical records including but not limited to confidentiality, as well as accurate and timely scanning and storage as needed.

Demonstrates computer and office equipment skills and knowledge.

Maintains/orders medical supplies monthly and as needed.

Demonstrate cost-effective practices Participate in orientation, in-service and staff meetings as scheduled Develop skills through attendance at staff development meetings, pertinent educational activities Participates in Performance Improvement activities as appropriate to departmental needs.

Is responsible for the general day-to-day management of the business office.

Maintains accurate statistical reports as requested and those required by Administration and submits to the appropriate persons, paying attention to detail, in an accurate and timely fashion.

Complete related tasks as assigned by the Manager or Director.

Maintains current drivers license and automobile insurance.

Qualifications WHAT YOU WILL NEED: KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIRED: Demonstrates effective written and verbal communication skills with excellent telephone technique Demonstrates general clerical skills Demonstrates ability to be attentive to details Demonstrates problem solving abilities Maintains positive interpersonal communication skills Demonstrates good customer service to internal and external customers.

Demonstrates knowledge in the use of current computer software applications, personal computers and other office equipment _KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS PREFERRED:_ Supervisory Skills Medicare and home health care reimbursement guidelines EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: High school graduate or equivalent Minimum 2 years experience or bachelors degree in related field Experience working with computer data bases and professional office settings Experience working with the public and exceptional customer service skills _EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE PREFERRED:_ Associate or bachelors degree in business or related field LICENSURE, CERTIFICATION OR REGISTRATION REQUIRED: Valid Drivers License This facility is an equal opportunity employer and complies with federal, state and local anti-discrimination laws, regulations and ordinances.
