Description SHIFT: Days (rotating weekends) SCHEDULE: Part-time TriStar Hendersonville Medical Center, a 148-bed hospital about 15 minutes outside of Nashville, has provided high-quality health care to residents of Sumner and surrounding counties for over 35 years.

The facility is the first Accredited Chest Pain Center in Sumner County and is a Certified Primary Stroke Center.

The Birth Center at TriStar Hendersonville, featuring Sumner County’s only Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU), hosts spacious LDRP suites and a lactation boutique for inpatient and outpatient services.

Hendersonville Medical Center is looking for a Nurse Technician to support the Medical / Surgical Department.

Shift: Part Time Days (Rotating Weekends).

Responsibilities: Demonstrates the skills and judgment necessary to provide direct care to patients under the direct supervision of licensed personnel.

Maintains current knowledge/certification/licensure.

Demonstrates the skills and judgment necessary to provide non-direct patient care/support services to staff under the direction of licensed personnel.

Attends all required safety training programs and can describe responsibilities related to general safety, department/service safety, and specific job‑related hazards.

Follows the hospital exposure control plans/blood borne and airborne pathogens Demonstrates respect and regard for the dignity of all patients, families, visitors, and fellow employees to ensure a professional, responsible, and courteous environment.

Promotes effective working relations and works effectively as part of a both inter and intradepartmental team to facilitate the departments/units ability to meet its goals and objectives.

Assumes all other duties and responsibilities as necessary.

Qualifications Qualifications: High school graduate or equivalent preferred Completion of 1 st year nursing school or completion of Nursing Assistant Program preferred Previous hospital or nursing home experience preferred Training or equivalent experience as a nursing assistant, CNA, EMT, Medical Assistant BLS Healthcare provider required
