Nurse practitioner PRN primary care irving

This is a Full-time position in Irving, TX posted May 29, 2019.

The PRN Nurse Practitioner HTPN evaluates, plans, and provides care for patients in consultation with and under direct supervision of attending Physician.

The PRN Nurse Practitioner HTPN performs clinical procedures under direction of attending Physician and according to approved protocols.

Initiates and changes orders for tests and patient care based on condition of patient and approval of Physician.

The PRN Nurse Practitioner HTPN develops and maintains active practice in facilities.

The PRN Nurse Practitioner HTPN compile medical history information and other relevant data from patient and family while updating medical record.

The PRN Nurse Practitioner HTPN initiate orders for routine Laboratory, radiologic, and diagnostic examinations or tests based on attending Physician’s verbal orders and written protocol.

The PRN Nurse Practitioner participate in Continuing Medical Education Programs and provide educational programs for Nursing Staff and other personnel.

The ideal candidate has excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communications skills, problem solving skills, is flexible and pays attention to detail.

Bachelors Degree in Nursing 2+ years Experience preferred Graduate of Nurse Practitioner Program Registered Nurse (RN) license for the state of Texas
