– Surgery for our 19 bed (2 OR) Facility in Port St.

What Will You Do?

As an Associate with Sacred Heart Health System-FL, you will have the opportunity to manage activities, workflow and nursing resources of assigned nursing unit(s).

Responsibilities: Ensures compliance with regulatory and accreditation requirements for self and within unit.

Conducts hiring, training, directing, development and evaluating of staff.

Identifies and resolves issues affecting the delivery of patient care services for the assigned unit(s).

Develops and implements policies and procedures to guarantee efficient and effective delivery of health services in a unit.

Monitors and adheres to budget.

Approves or monitors expenditures, purchases and other actions to ensure compliance with budget guidelines.

What Will You Need?

Skills: Excellent Communicator Team player Mission focused Detail Oriented Strategic Thinker Licenses/Certifications/Registration: Required Credential(s): BLS Provider credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.

Registered Nurse credentialed from the Florida Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.

Licensed as a Registered Nurse in Florida.

Credentialed from State Board of Nursing or current home state license for multi-state license recognition “Compact State” obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.

– Required within the first 90 days Education: Diploma Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing with experience required Work Experience: Minimum of 3 years Operating room experience required.

1 year of leadership or management experience (can include charge nurse experience) experience required .
