Our UT Health Behavioral Health Center is seeking an experienced Therapist .

We are looking for your experience, knowledge and patient care skills where you will be responsible for: Details: What You Will Be Doing: Functions independently in providing group, individual, conjoint and family therapy according to patient s needs and physician s order, as appropriate Performs quality psychosocial assessments, consistent with established standards in a timely manner Provides appropriate community referrals based on individual patient needs and preference, and assist case managers in developing appropriate discharge plans, in order to provide continuity of care while helping the patients transition back into the community Assist in the development of the multidisciplinary treatment plans and functions as a contributing member of the multidisciplinary treatment team Reports to investigating state and local agencies (APS, CPS) as mandated by state law and ethical standards of the profession Maintains appropriate documentation in a timely manner So what experience are we looking for in our Therapists?

Masters degree in Social Work or other mental health field from an accredited school A minimum of at least one year experience in mental health or graduate field placement in mental health working under supervision Psychiatric hospital inpatient experience preferred Licensed Masters in Social Work (LMSW) or equivalent in related mental health field; or a temporary license under supervision Now that you read about what you will be doing and the experience we seek, it is time to apply and make a difference in the lives of our patients.
