Join Rush University Medical Center We are seeking a dynamic Manager of Supply Chain Analytics to join our Purchasing & Contracts Department at Rush University Medical Center This is a Full Time position 80 hours every two weeks, benefit-eligible 8 Hour Shifts: Monday
– Friday Position Highlights The Manager, Supply Chain Analytics is the primary lead for the Rush ERP system, Inventory Management technologies, EDI software and other possible software programs that support the Supply Chain team across Procurement and Operations.

The Manager will also act as the primary lead for any IS related issues and is responsible to streamline processes using technical expertise and leveraging relationships with IS specialists.

The role will also be responsible to coach and mentor support staff to think broadly and come up with creative solutions to everyday problems.

This individual will exemplify the Rush mission, vision, and values and act in accordance with Rush policies and procedures.

Position Responsibilities Manages a team of system analysts and their operational support for Link Item Master, Mobile Supply Chain, Par Excellence, QSight, the AGV system, and GHX.

Administers the integrity of pricing data throughout the enterprise where pricing is housed.

The current environment requires pricing updates in an eProcurement system
– Rush is using the Infor/Lawson system as the primary ERP across the enterprise.

Administers the creation and maintenance of an Item Master for the enterprise.

Abides by the Item Master guidelines in adding/deleted/cleansing data.

Leads Works with 3rd party resource and support staff to content cleanse, maintain, and update the Item Master on a monthly, quarterly, and bi-annual basis.

Becomes an expert in the GHX EDI software.

Reviews any and all needs related to GHX from a new vendor add prospective, handles an errors, and optimizes the use of the platform for greater paperless transactions.

Works alongside Purchasing Manager to review key metrics to improve compliance.

Leverages the GHX CCX platform with contract loads.

Works closely with Sourcing Managers to ensure database is accurately loaded and that the platform is optimized.

Oversees the implementation of new, revised and deleted contracts to ensure the coordination of change with manufacturer, distributor, group purchasing organization, materials management and customers.

Primary team member from the Supply Chain purchasing side to represent Lawson team for Business Analytics.

Responsible for the development and management of the Purchasing reporting functions including (but not limited to) the contract and savings reports/databases, operational and monthly financial reports, and any ad hoc inquiries and requests for data and reports.

Reviews, analyzes and recommends changes and enhancements to programs, processes, and policies to increase efficiency and effectiveness of the Supply Chain Services.

Implements approved recommendations and ensures compliance with all associated policies and standing operational procedures and regulations.

Completes special projects (i.e.

cost per case) and adhoc reporting assignments handed by director(s) within agreed upon time-frames and makes recommendations based on information gained from the special request.

Promotes teamwork by working together with supervisors and peers.

Provides support to work group.

Accepts constructive criticism and suggestions as is demonstrated by appropriate follow through.

Ensures legal and ethical parameters are being adhered to.

Seeks direction from legal and risk management, when appropriate.

Fosters mutual respect and supports an inclusive work environment.

Position Qualifications Include Bachelors Degree in Business Administration, Health Systems Management required.

Masters Degree (MBA/MHA) or other master’s preparation with emphasis on healthcare financial management preferred.

4-5 years’ experience in data analytics, Health Care experience preferred Strong proficiency in Excel spreadsheet applications is required Experience with healthcare ERP systems is preferred Proficiency in Access database is preferred.

Experience in a health care environment is preferred.
