· Texas Ten Step Facility Emergency Department POSITION SUMMARY : The Nursing Manager, in collaboration with the Director, is responsible for the clinical and financial outcomes of designated clinical unit/units.

The manager is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the unit, including promoting positive patient, employee and physician satisfaction.

The manager will assist the unit director to meet or exceed the monthly operating budget.

The manager in collaboration with the appropriate clinical educator/resource will assure appropriate unit orientation and ongoing staff competency.

Employee’s conduct must reflect the Company’s values and a commitment to the Code of Conduct ethics and compliance program.

Qualifications EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE : Required: Associates Degree or Diploma Degree in Nursing, BSN preferred.

Requires a minimum of three years’ experience as a charge nurse, coordinator, or supervisor.

Preferred: Leadership and management experience is highly desirable.

LICENSES AND CERTIFICATES : Required: Licensed in the state of Texas as RN or hold eligible Compact license to practice as an RN in the state of Texas.
