Licensed practical nurse rehab


This is a Full-time position in Upper, AR posted July 26, 2019.

That team is expanding, and we currently have exceptional opportunities to help our communities grow.Under the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse, performs delegated tasks as appropriate in the care of patients.

Demonstrates positive interpersonal relationships with others in communication and problem resolution; is sensitive to the needs of patients, families, and fellow co-workers; provides nursing care for patients in accordance with age specific needs; plan and provide professional nursing care for patients in accordance with any identified cultural diversity needs (such as religions, lifestyles, beliefs, physical capabilities, and cultures); provides nursing care for patients by assuring appropriate and effective pain management; assess, report and assist any patients that present with evidence of abuse and/or neglect; and supports the mission of Mercy.

Co-workers are expected to abide by Mercy Fort Smith’s safety and infection control policies to maintain a safe environment for patients and co-workers.

Current CPR Certification is a required element to maintain the job position.:Because you’re committed to excellence, you understand the importance of being properly prepared for your role at Mercy.

That’s why you’ll bring to your role the right set of qualifications:Education: Must be a graduate of a state approved school of nursing.

Must be currently licensed in the State of Arkansas as a LPN/LPTN.Licensure: Current Arkansas LPN/LPTN license.Experience: Certifications: Current CPR certification Current BLS certificationOther: Skills, knowledge, and Abilities: Demonstrates skills in human relations and communication, both written and verbal.

Demonstrates clinical expertise in patient care delivery.

Possesses the ability to assess data and assist personnel in providing appropriate level of care.
