Position Overview

Licensed Practical Nurse- Promotes and restores patients health by completing the nursing process; collaborating with physicians and multidisciplinary team members; providing physical and psychological support to patients, friends, and families; supervising assigned team members.

Medical Office Assistant- This person assists in the provision of comprehensive health care as a member of a team of health care professionals. This individual functions in all areas of the office setting this includes both clinical and front desk duties.

Location and Hours of Position

PHN Rochester Behavioral Health Office.The general office hours for this position is 8:30 AM-5:00 PM (with some evening hours required).The position is located in Rochester, PA.

Education/Experience Requirements

Graduate of an approved school of nursing and two years experience in a clinical setting preferred


Graduate of an approved school Medical Office Assistant and/or two years experience in a clinical setting

Administering Medication

Flexibility in the workplace

Previous venipuncture experience or a willingness to learn

Previous injection experience or willingness to learn

Previous experience in calling prescriptions under a providers direction

Good communication skills and interpersonal skills

Strong clinical knowledge

Computer proficient
