At UF Health Rehabilitation Hospital our services have been designed for patients who need a longer rehabilitation hospitalization for their recovery.

We are currently seeking an Infection Prevention
– Employee Health Nurse (RN) to join our team.

Overview of Select Medical Inpatient Rehabilitation Hospitals

Select Medicals Inpatient Rehabilitation Hospitals provide advanced treatment and comprehensive care to best address the medical, physical, emotional and vocational challenges for individuals with:
Brain Injury Spinal Cord Injury Stroke Amputation Neurological Disorders Orthopedic Conditions Multiple Traumas Responsibilities:
Coordinates the Infection Control Program in accordance with the guidelines and regulatory requirements of the Center of Disease Control on a facility-wide basis.

Ensure that all existing and newly hired employee are compliant with national, state and organizational health requirements and to support efforts to remove or reduce risk of injury to employees while in the workplace.

Reviews policies and procedures to insure compliance with all regulatory and accrediting standards.

Develops and implements programs to promote prevention and control of infections.
Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications
Baccalaureate Degree in Nursing required.

Current state license as a Registered Nurse (RN) required Familiarity with regulatory and accrediting standards relating to Infection Control required A minimum of one year relevant hospital experience required
Preferred Qualifications
Certified Professional in Infection Control preferred Additional Data:
