Our expertise is in driving change in a highly collaborative approach with our clients and includes the following diverse set of services: healthcare reform strategy and compliance, value-based delivery solutions, virtual care enablement (telehealth, remote monitoring, mobile health, predictive analytics, etc.), health data analytics, operational enhancement and redesign, population care management, healthcare cost reduction, product development and deployment, and IT solution design and deployment.The Consulting Senior Manager/Director, in conjunction with clients and other members of the Artesient leadership team, plans and manages all aspects of a client business or technology engagement.

The Consulting Senior Manager/Director identifies, evaluates and develops methods and procedures that are efficient, effective, and meet or exceed business best practices. S/he is responsible for managing project teams in a mature and client-focused manner, ensuring high quality results, frequent client communication, and the presentation of a professional image. S/he is skilled in Project Management disciplines and has a history of success in delivering expected deliverables on-time and on-budget for achieving business outcomes. The ideal candidate will have substantial prior consulting experience working for a well-established consulting firm, have significant experience leading operational improvement efforts, be skilled at guiding a large number of stakeholders through a challenging change experience, and have a significant level of experience deploying technology enablers.Essential job functionsDirect and manage project from beginning to end.Develop project scope and approach, plans, and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with client senior management and stakeholders.Lead/manage multi-functional team(s) consisting of client personnel, independent consultants, and vendor staff.Effectively communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion.Ensure exit criteria are established for each stage of project and are met before moving forward.Estimate the resources and participants needed to achieve project goals and, in conjunction with client leaders, take the lead in acquiring, assigning, and managing those resources on a project.Draft and submit budget proposals, provide revised forecasts regularly, and recommend subsequent budget changes when necessary.Plan and schedule project tasks, milestones, and dependencies using appropriate tools.Manage deliverable review/approval cycle.Develop and deliver progress reports, proposals, and presentations.Determine the frequency and content of status reports from the project team; analyze results, and actively work to resolve issues and mitigate risks.Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential crises, and devise contingency plans.Define project success criteria and disseminate them to involved parties throughout project life cycle.Prepare updates for senior management and governance committees. BA (MBA preferred).5+ years of prior consulting experience with well-established consulting firm.Expertise in Healthcare industry.Expertise in at least one consulting service area (system implementation, process redesign, strategic planning, financial analysis preferred).Experience serving as primary client contact for all project work and communicating results and recommendations.Strong senior executive facilitation and coaching skills and experience.Superior skills in gathering and analyzing relevant data and synthesizing analytical results which are clear, succinct, and compelling.Superior project management skills.Experience driving technology enabler deployment through the full SDLC lifecycle.Experience leading process redesign and systems deployment projects.Experience developing and managing common project deliverables, including business cases, business requirements, use case / test plans, program / release roadmaps, etc.Strong Project, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint skills.Strong verbal and written communication skills.Willingness to travel for out-of-town assignments.
