Healthcare audit manager


This is a Full-time position in Salt Lake City, UT posted April 20, 2019.

We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated auditing professional to serve as an Audit Manager providing support to the executive leadership to assist in ongoing enhancement of current as well as future service offerings. What You’ll Do:Manage client needs and expectations to ensure project scope, requirements and deliverables are developed appropriately with clients for coding and other related service offerings. Responsible for coordinating the allocation and assignment of coding resources to ensure client projects are delivered on time, on budget and that client expectations are exceededResponsible for maintaining department coding and audit standards, protocols and guidelinesAudit medical records, validate clinical documentation, support evaluation of management services, ancillary services, procedures and diagnoses and prepare summary findings making recommendationsResearch regulatory guidelines for supporting documentationDevelop training material and presentationsRegularly monitor performance and provide feedback and coaching to direct reportsManage Coders and Contractors to ensure smooth operations of daily activities and that productivity and quality standards are being metResponsible and accountable for maintaining HIPAA security policies and proceduresExperience You’ll Need:Minimum 10 years’ experience in Healthcare industry3+ years’ experience in a management position in Healthcare industry4+ years auditing experienceExtensive coding experience in multiple specialtiesExtensive knowledge of AMA, OIG, CMS and other national coding and compliance guidelines (billing, auditing, compliance and reimbursement for physician practices: CPT, HCPCS, and ICD-10)Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) with the ability to interact effectively with physicians, management, and staffDemonstrated ability to successfully manage multiple projects simultaneouslyExperience developing and delivering training material, PowerPoint presentations, webinars and reports for physicians, management and codersStrong organizational skills and worth ethicDetail-oriented, ability to multi-task, and deadline driven attitudeCritical thinking ability to determine best methods for completing tasksStrong leadership skillsProficient in Windows, Excel, Word and PowerPointCertification :CPCCPMA or RHITWhat We Offer:Competitive compensation commensurate with experienceComprehensive benefits package including medical, dental and vision insuranceHealth Savings AccountGenerous PTO and Holiday Pay401(k) retirement planOn-Site Exercise RoomCompany provided lunchWho We Are: We are driven by a single idea: that healthcare should be simplified.
