Camellia Place Assisted Living and Memory Care is looking for Georgia Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN) with experience working with older adults in a seniors housing setting. DON’T be the only nurse in the building! At Camellia Place, the Health Services Manager works along side the Health Services Director (RN) together managing team members and coordinating resident care needs.

Key Responsibilities

The Health Services Manager works together onsite with the Health Services Director (RN) side by side managing Health Services team members providing direct care and services and coordinating resident care needs.

  • Manages care coordination needs of residents including but not limited to completing resident evaluations, service plans, leading care conferences and coordination of outside healthcare providers
  • Supervises routine performance and delivery of care for direct care team members.
  • Administers medications and treatments to residents per physicians’ orders and the Six Rights of Medication Administration when needed
  • Performs performance reviews of Health Services team members
  • Assists residents with ADL’s and care needs according to their Individualized Service Plans
  • Ensures ongoing timely compliance with regulatory and company policy requirements.
  • Leads by example promoting team work, mentorship and positive team environment
  • Provide support, coaching and guidance to residents, family members, and team members
  • Responds to resident emergencies with clinical oversight
  • Responds, investigates and reports Incident Report findings to the Health Services Director and/or Executive Director
  • Remains calm, cool, and collected in all interactions with others during the assigned shift.
  • Supports department needs are met in collaboration with Health Services Director
  • Other as directed by the Health Services Director and/or the Executive Director

Requirements:

Key Requirements

The successful candidates will,

  • Active Georgia Licensed Practical Nurse in good standing
  • Have 3 years of successful LPN experience
  • Be willing to provide resident care & assistance as a regular part of your duties when needed
  • Be willing to work weekends, flexible to schedule needs
  • Strong training and coaching abilities to mentor and lead teams
  • Ability to provide nursing judgement and clinical support and education
  • Have excellent people skills, pays focused attention to details, and has a passion for accuracy.
