Family nurse practitioner

South Main Clinic and Urgent Care South Main Clinic, LLC About the practice: South Main Clinic and Urgent Care (South Main Clinic, LLC) will be a locally owned family-practice-oriented and urgent care clinic which will strive to provide the best patient care to its patients.

We will be located next to Hometown Pharmacy, a locally owned retail pharmacy that specializes in herbal and alternative products in addition to standard products provided by most pharmacies.

We believe the clinic and pharmacy will have a unique opportunity to work together to provide excellent patient care.

Our Nurse Practitioner will enjoy the opportunity of molding a new clinic to best meet patient needs.

As the Nurse Practitioner you will be able to implement care and programs for patients as you desire.

We estimate that the clinic will be open sometime between November 2019 to February 2020.

Job Description: Assess and treat every patient with the highest quality care in an efficient manner.

Obtain accurate and appropriate patient histories, perform clinical examinations, order diagnostic tests, and make referrals as needed for the diagnosis and treatment of acute and chronic conditions.

Review the results of laboratory tests, radiology results, and medical consultations in a timely manner and report findings to patients quickly and efficiently concerning treatment and interpretation.

Properly document patient encounters in the medical record within 48 hours of their visit.

Provide information necessary for proper and accurate billing.

Implement your best clinical judgement within the framework of accepted standards of care.

Consult with physician/ medical director as needed.

Prompt response to emails and phone messages from staff, management, and colleagues about patient care.

Monitors communication throughout the day and responds accordingly.

Attends company and industry-related meetings as required.

Serves as a contributing member on leadership team.

Performs other duties as assigned.

Job Responsibilities: Provide appropriate medical care and excellent customer service to the patients.

Complete medical records within 48 hours of the patient visit with the documentation being complete and accurate.

Maintain confidentiality of staff and patients.

Accept patients until closing time.

Follow the policies and procedures of the clinic.

Be team-orientated.

Serve as a coach to team members.

Ability to multi-task and make decisions.

Required Qualifications: Passion for providing patient care.

Completion of a Nurse Practitioner program and certified nationally.

Maintain required national certifications and mandatory continuing education courses.

Maintains a Kentucky license in good standing.

CPR (BLS & ACLS) certified.

At least 2 years of experience in a relevant practice.

Must be able to work as sole provider in a clinic setting.

Must meet credentialing requirements.

Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products.

Excellent communication skills.

DOT Certification or willing to obtain.

Preferred Qualifications: Working knowledge of eClinical Works software.

Education and Experience: Master’s Degree in an accredited ARNP Program.

Kentucky license as an ARNP in good standing.

At least 2 years of experience.

Job Type: Full-time Hours: 9 – 5:30 Monday – Friday with 1 hour for lunch each day.

Salary: Starting Salary: $95,000 with opportunities to grow with the clinic.

Benefits: Health Insurance or Stipend.

Paid Vacation & Holidays.

No Weekends.
