Director of recruiting clinical recruitment

Vera Whole Health seeks an experienced Recruiting Director to join our team.

The Recruiting Director can help us shape our organization into the future as it is responsible for managing recruitment, strategies for scale, talent pipelining and sourcing programs, and managing the recruiting team; on other words, bringing the people to our team who will make us successful as we grow.

We are looking for someone who has a strong healthcare background, is innovative, strategic, gritty, can connect and build relationships, takes accountability seriously, and utilizes a coach approach.

/Essential Functions: Talent Acquisition Accountable for the overall management and leadership of recruitment process.

Manage the recruitment brand strategy in partnership with Marketing.

Consult on workforce planning needs and establish an overall recruiting strategy working with organizational partners.

Own the entire recruitment process; from sourcing to onboarding.

Innovatively streamline the processes affecting recruitment.

Be disruptive in how we source and pipeline our physician and clinical roles; develop and expand applicant sourcing for all clinical roles.

Source and recruit passive job seekers by making connections with qualified individuals who are not actively applying for new employment.

Work with organizational partners to develop a strategy for entering new markets.

Direct the efforts of agencies and search firms, including negotiating and controlling all contracts and fees.

Manage business relationships.

Responsible for a seamless onboarding process; managing job descriptions, job requisitions, the employment offer process.

Attend job/career fairs with appropriate staff to generate qualified applicants.

Department ManagementAccountable for the overall management and leadership of the clinical recruitment team.Build a department structure that ensures operational performance standards are met or exceeded.Monitor departmental work performance to ensure the needs of the department and stakeholders are met or exceeded.Develop, coach, and evaluate performance of all Recruiting team members.Act as an inter-departmental planning partner and consult with other leads and managers on projects and initiatives.Execute regular recruiting meetings and huddles.Manage short-and long-term recruitment planning; track goals and progress toward them.Develop and implement recruitment strategies to achieve required staffing levels at clinics, launches and Field Support.Other duties as assigned.Additional Preferred: Strong knowledge of the Recruiting body of knowledge, including applicable federal, state and local laws, regulations and ordinances affecting recruiting and hiring.

Good leadership presence as well as people management skill.

Ability to build, motivate and coach a team of direct reports to produce measurable results.

Strong customer service tool box including professional mannerisms and actions (self-confident and committed to high ethics).

Strong sense of urgency to resolve customer needs.

Strong organizational, time management and prioritization skills.

Strong analytical skills, with an ability to troubleshoot, problem-solve and effectively and efficiently make decisions.

Strong communication skills (oral, written, presentation) with both external and internal customers.

Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships at all levels.

Ability to influence others as well as relate to individuals at all levels of the organization.

Good project management skills, including the ability to take ownership for accomplishing assigned tasks.

Results-oriented planner and delegator who ensures that goals are met.

Able to set priorities and keep to projected schedules.

Education/Experience: BA in HR, Business Administration or Psychology.5 – 8 years of full-cycle corporate recruiting experience required.5 years of managerial experience preferred.5 years in healthcare is required.Advanced skills in MS Office and ATS (Jobvite).
