Director of facilities operations and clinical engineering

This is a Full-time position in Center, IN posted May 23, 2019.

HealthNet is seeking a talented and motivated Director of Facilities Operations and Clinical Engineering to join our practice full time.

We are looking for a team player who wants to work in a family practice environment and who is passionate about providing care to underserved patients.

The Director provides administrative decision making, leadership and strategic planning including the efficient and productive use of personnel, material and financial resources for plant operations and clinical engineering and distribution/material handling for HealthNet.

In addition to property management, environmental services, the Director acts as the safety officer and manages external vendor contracts related to property management.

What We Are Looking For:
· Bachelors of Science Degree preferred in electrical, or mechanical engineering, plus 10+ years plant operations or construction experience is required, or an equivalent of education and experience from which comparable job knowledge can be acquired.

· Health care experience preferred.

· Requires demonstrated leadership, facilitation, and negotiation skills.

· Requires exceptional presentation and public speaking skills.

· Requires in depth knowledge of fiscal management.

· Requires outstanding skills in budgeting and statistics.

· Requires knowledgeable of the principles of change management, conflict resolution, and performance improvement.

· Must have the ability to be sufficiently mobile to access geographically separated areas and facilities.

· Must have the analytical ability to evaluate problem situations and come to appropriate conclusions and solutions.

· Must have the ability to use judgment and discretion.

Must have the ability to juggle and prioritize several assignments simultaneously, to cope successfully with diversity and complexity, to integrate seemingly unrelated data, and to reduce complex notions to relatively simple terms.

· Must have the ability for precision and attention to detail so that complicated and/or multi-faceted assignments can be completed with a high degree of exactness.

· Must have the ability to work under pressure and stress of time constraints, complex problems, multiple tasks and emotional issues with high concentration and energy levels.
