Joseph Residence is an Assisted Living Facility.

We are seeeking a C.N.A.

with excellent customer service skills.

This position is per diem for weekends 3PM-11PM or 7AM-PM, in addition, able to cover call outs and holidays.

The Certified Nursing Assistant, (C.N.A.) under the direct supervision of the professional nurse, assists in providing care appropriate to the age of residents by utilizing restorative techniques to assist the resident with ADL activities; safety measures and comfort care, mobility/ambulation.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: Successfully completed the required competency evaluation program for certified nursing assistant including 6 hr.


class and CPR.

Prefer candidate with experience in similar setting and excellent customer service skills.

LANGUAGE SKILLS: Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.

Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.

Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of the organization.

Must be able to read, write and speak English clearly and adequately for residents, patients and co-workers, REASONING ABILITY: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.

Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

– Successfully completed State approved Nursing Assistant Program and competence exam.

OTHER SKILLS and ABILITIES: (Complete the attached skill checklist) Ability to operate specific equipment or tools; e.g., wheelchair, weight scale, familiarity with medical terminology.

Be adaptable in communication and sensitive to age levels of residents.

Ability to modify and deliver care that is specific to the age of the resident/patient PHYSICAL DEMANDS: The physical demands described here are representatives of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
