We have established a partnership with the MN Department of Human Services to assist schools in providing mental health services throughout Southeastern Minnesota.

This partnership aims to reduce barriers, increasing school age children’s access to receive mental health services within the school setting.

Start making an impact today as a full-time School-Linked Mental Health Therapist to work in Burnside Elementary School ( ).

In this role you will be responsible for providing mental health services to identified individuals and families.

This opportunity includes ongoing training & support provided, career advancement, and licensure supervision reimbursement & in-house licensure supervision available.

Responsibilities: Conduct diagnostic assessments & develop individualized treatment plans Maintain accurate and timely documentation of services provided Provide individual, family and group psychotherapy to adults, adolescents and children using evidence & research-based practices Maintains and enhances knowledge of current clinical practice Attend & actively engage in individual supervision & weekly program meetings Collaborate with school systems, caregivers, outside agencies, and school staff Create effective working relationships with colleagues and community partners Ensures that therapeutic interactions are sensitive to and in accordance with the family’s cultural needs and interests Maintain progress towards licensure and follow requirements of supervision as applicable This position is year around Perform other duties as assigned Requirements: Master’s degree in one of the behavioral science field (psychology, social work, counseling, and/or related field) Licensure completed OR on licensure track as LMFT, LPCC, LP, or LICSW Excellent communication, advocacy and collaboration skills preferred Must have reliable transportation, a valid driver’s license, valid automobile insurance, and acceptable driving record Must pass criminal background check based on agency and Department of Human Services requirements Fernbrook Family Center provides equal employment opportunities (EEO) to all employees and applicants for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, military status, veteran status, pregnancy, national origin, age, disability or genetics any other classification protected by federal, state or local law.
