– TMS Center Shift: 1st Specialty: Psychiatric Nursing Job Number: 2018-3713 Date Posted: 01/23/2019 Position Type: Nursing-Ambulatory/Outpatient Job Qualifications: Nurse Clinician 2 Psychiatry (Part Time) The Psychiatry team is seeking a TMS (Magnetic Stimulation) Nurse to work collaboratively with other members to coordinate the care of patients undergoing TMS treatment.

Position Highlights: Ambulatory RN 2 with experience in Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation Services seeking a Part-Time (.5) position Eligible for part-time benefits that also include tuition assistance and enhancement plans Be a contributing member of a staff proud of four Magnet®designations Principal role of the Nurse Clinician is to provide TMS services to patients identified as having treatment resistant depression via our screening process and assists these patients as they move through the series of treatments required by the program.

Acts as a liaison for patients, physicians, and other team members to coordinate, schedule and document appointments for procedures, tests, and education.

Calls patients regarding follow-up, test results, medical instruction, and patient education under the direction of a physician.

Documents as appropriate in the outpatient medical record.

Position Qualifications Include: BSN in Nursing required Current RN Licensure in the State of Illinois Current CPR Certification, Current ACLS preferred 1 to 2 years of Clinical experience working with psychiatric patients Advanced computer skills including proficiency with electronic medical record systems required.

Ability to work with complex medical equipment Ability to manage complex clinical issues Experience with TMS and handling patients diagnosed with severe depression Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; detail-oriented, Knowledge of MQSA/federal standards Strong customer service skills required, Ability to organize and be self-motivated Company Highlights: Rush University Medical Center is a four-time Magnet® facility, the highest recognition given for nursing excellence.
