Job Title: Ambulatory RN 2 Cardiology Department: INT MED CARDIOLOGY CCU NP PA MSP Shift: 1st Specialty: Cardiology Job Number: 2018-3711 Date Posted: 01/11/2019 Position Type: Nursing-Ambulatory/Outpatient Job Qualifications: Ambulatory RN 2-Cardiology Position is predominantly Monday-Friday, No weekends or holidays POSITION HIGHLIGHTS; You will actively provide patient care and be a key participant in our rapidly growing dynamic cardiology ambulatory care clinic setting.

This opportunity to work in a collaborative relationship with a great health care team committed to customer service, providing leadership and coordinating the care of patients Position is predominantly Monday-Friday, No weekends or holidays POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES; Coordinate and provide primary nursing care for high volume of adults needing cardiac care Assist with significant phone triage and scheduling appointments utilizing your cardiology knowledge, compassion and excellent communication skills Continue to contribute to a positive patient outcome by providing expert assistance with coordinating procedures for both chronic and acute patients Administer medications and provide extensive patient/family education Participate in the nurse managed anticoagulation clinic Identify and participate in QI activities POSITION QUALIFICATIONS; Current RN Licensure in the State of Illinois BSN Current CPR Certification At least 1-2 years RN experience in an acute care or ambulatory setting; CCU experience strongly preferred Basic computer skills Must be able to work independently and demonstrate excellent organizational and critical thinking skills Must be detail oriented, able to work independently and demonstrate excellent organizational and critical thinking skills Work requires the ability to walk throughout the Medical Center and to be standing or walking most of the designated shift Work requires the ability to walk throughout the Medical Center and to be standing or walking most of the designated shift.

Work requires lifting or carrying objects 35-40lbs.

and lifting and positioning patients, some of whom may exceed 300 lbs.
