And you will have:

  • A proven track record of being accountable for multiple deliverables, reporting and high- quality performance
  • Outstanding focus on safety and ethical standards
  • A strong ability to build and maintain customer satisfaction at all times
  • Experience in independent problem solving and recognizing  when support from peers and supervisors is needed
  • Graduated from a recognized physiotherapy assistant or rehabilitation assistant program or Degree in kinesiology or other equivalent program

Your role will require:

  • Working under the supervision of a Physiotherapist and providing therapy services to clients/residents. This may include helping supervising Physiotherapist with individual and group client/resident treatment programs
  • Assisting in the teaching of and helping clients / residents to effectively cope with their limitations in movement, daily functioning, and activity whether temporary or permanent, during and following recovery periods and to promote functioning and movement
  • Notifying the Physiotherapist of changes in client / resident health status, withdrawal of consent, non-compliance or any difficulties in implementing assigned tasks
  • Maintaining records and statistics to a standard appropriate for medico-legal purposes
  • Physical lifting abilities
  • Other duties as assigned
